Susan L. Baker attended Point Loma College and graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Home Economics. 

Susan taught in the public schools for many years in Texas and Wyoming. She taught her students to operate, manage, and cook in a commercial kitchen, with  many students going on to serve in the United States military in food service. Other students applied these specialized skills throughout various industries throughout the country.

Later in her career, Mrs. Baker led Instructional Technology in a Texas charter school, creating a rich environment for student success. Her desire in serving Optumus Foundation is to change the world through education.
